Pupils' Voice Questionnaire (PVQ)
Understanding their experiences and supporting their well-being as they progress through school

Pupils' Voice is a suite of tailored online surveys designed to give children and young people a safe and structured way to share their thoughts, experiences, and emotional well-being at different stages of their school journey. From primary through to the end of secondary school, Pupils' Voice helps schools understand what matters to their students and how to provide effective support.
By capturing anonymous, age-appropriate feedback, Pupils' Voice enables schools to address issues, enhance pastoral care, and improve the school experience for all.
Four Tailored Variants

Animated GIFs and simple language ensure accessibility for younger pupils.

- Transition Factors: Expectations, continuity, and readiness for change.
- School Factors: Inclusion, well-being, teaching, clubs, and safeguarding.
- Pressures and Worries: Bullying, mental stress, workload, social challenges.
Year 7 insights help identify early adjustment issues and inform targeted support.

Focuses on pupils adapting to secondary school life and preparing for GCSE choices. The survey examines:
- Well-being and Inclusion: Are students engaged and supported?
- Learning and Environment: How do they feel about teaching and school conditions?
- Responsibility and Autonomy: Are they developing independence?
- Social and Emotional Factors: Bullying, stress, peer relationships.
Year-specific analysis enables schools to adapt support before key academic decisions.
KS4 (Years 10 and 11)
Supports students approaching the end of compulsory education. It explores:
- Academic Pressures: Managing GCSEs and future expectations.
- Mental Health and Resilience: Coping with stress, personal challenges.
- Independence and Decision-Making: Are students confident and capable?
- Relationships and Belonging: Social support and inclusion.
